J.A. Clark and Sons were wonderful in helping with my father’s funeral. They were compassionate, organised and highly professional throughout an incredibly difficult time for our family. I was grateful to meet Susan and Charlie, who were both so kind and the flower arrangement was beautifully done. I’m very happy to support such a caring local business and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

The family has used J A Clark & Son down the years, but this was the first time, I had to arrange a funeral myself. I met with Susan initially and despite what I might have deemed to be 'silly questions,' she put me at my ease and informed me about the order of events and everything else in between. There was a lot to take in, but any queries I had, I could just email them and the response was prompt. They helped me a great deal. Susan and Charlie could cater for a late request or amendment, within reason. Susan put together lovely flower sprays for the coffin, too. They looked after my sister with care and dignity up until the funeral day, when Anthony was on hand to advise and guide us before and after the service. I would highly recommend J A Clark & Son to take care of the arrangements for your loved one.

We have used J.A.Clark & Son since 1989, and we used them again for my aunt's funeral on the 21st of May, 2026. Charles & his wife Lisa (?), were very sympathetic, and very helpful, making the funeral organisation easy, and with no stress. The flowers we ordered to go on the coffin, were exactly what we wanted & they were beautiful. I have known Susan for a long time, and i did meet her, and Anthony conducted the funeral service according to our wishes, and as discussed. Thank you

I have had contact with this company since 1982 for nearly 20 years professionally when I was working as secretary for the Catholic Church in Union Street, Barnet. They were not only very efficient but added great sensitivity, courtesy and dignity for the many funerals held in the church. Charlie & Susan were professional and caring in challenging circumstances. They talked us through every aspect of the process and were extremely helpful, we didn't feel rushed to make decisions we weren't ready to make and we were kept well informed; the service for my late dad was perfect. We have used J A Clark & Son for the funerals of both our late father and more recently our late mother. The service we received from them was absolutely exemplary from start to finish. Charlie very gently guided us through the various options and we were able to personalise everything so that we achieved the send off we wanted.
